Main Purpose of Role:

We are looking for someone to work closely with the Lab Services Manager to provide guidance and to ensure the smooth running of the shift. Responsible for Lab services in the absence of the Lab Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take a lead on the day-to-day people management of your shift team members.
- Perform regular 1-2-1 meetings, reviewing achievements and development and seeking input and support from Laboratory Management.
- Oversee and maintain the conventional and media production workflow. Ensure data integrity and production traceability are maintained across all CBL lab systems and processes.
- Ensure the shift tasks are completed and any issues arising are communicated immediately to the Laboratory management.


Key Performance Indicators:

-    To be discussed and reviewed in line with the overall CBL business targets

-    Competency in all processes of the conventional laboratory and media production

-    Strength to troubleshoot and advise on issues facing staff on shift

-    Ability to work well with other members of staff
